The Institution of Canberra is an online and open university that was established in 1967. It is a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning as well as the New Generation Universities. The current name of Canberra University comes from its previous incarnation as Canberra College of Advanced Education. Dr. Lotay Tshering is the current prime minister of Bhutan (Member of Nine News Queensland).
