If you are applying for UK student visa you need to select appropriate College or University. It should be listed in Registered Sponsor List and it should hold active license. There are wide options available in terms of colleges and universities. Each college/university has its own entry requirement.

 

UNDER GRADUATE PROGRAMS

 

You must be having good academic records.
You must carry your Higher Secondary mark sheet/12 Grade marksheet.
You must have an IELTS score of overall 6 bands equivalent score of TOEFL, PTE.
Work experience letter (if applicable).

 

POST GRADUATE PROGRAMS

You need to carry your Higher Secondary mark sheet/12th Grade marksheet, Bachelors mark sheets, transcripts and degree certificate/ Advance diploma Certificate.
IELTS score of 7.0 bands overall, TOEFL, PTE at equivalent level is accepted.

Additional requirements of GRE/GMAT as per case.

ntakes for universities and colleges are mainly in February and September. Some programs also have May intake. You need to apply at least 6 months prior to the intake for applying to universities, while for colleges you can apply 4 months prior to the intake.

Student should apply prior from 2 to 3 months. On confirmation of offer letter the next step would be payment of first semester fees and getting Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies generally known as CAS. The student visa application is online system. Once application forms are filled and submitted you can choose Application submission date. Medical test from Panel doctors and police clearance certificate is required.

Students need to show sufficient funds to cover tuition fees and living cost depending upon their place of study located in inner boroughs of London or outer boroughs of London. Living cost should be shown in form of bank savings which has to be 28 days old. Education loan is also accepted. Mostly short interview is undertaken at the time of application submission for visa. In some cases interview request by high commission is also issued.

FAQ

 

IS IELTS MANDATORY?

 

IELTS is the preferred proof for English capability. You can establish it by TOEFL iBT / PTE or EPT as well. Some UK universities might insist on IELTS though.

 

CAN WE WORK DURING STUDIES?

 

You can work for 20 hours per week along with your studies.

 

WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR MASTERS IN UK?

 

An Indian bachelor degree like B.A., B.Com or B.Sc. is equivalent to a British Bachelor (Ordinary) Degree and for most universities, a good first class degree from a leading university in India or its equivalent is essential to apply for Masters in UK.

 

WHICH COURSES SHOULD BE PREFERRED FOR STUDYING IN UK?

 

UK is famous for Business studies, Economics, Management Advertising, Marketing, Human Resources and MBA. There are few universities from which MBA can lead you to good prospects and job seeks in UK.
