Admissions

Fleming College was started as a school for the Applied Arts and Technologies at the end of the 1960s. The building is named after the Scottish engineer and inventor Sir Sandford Fleming, who was a pioneering member of the Royal Canadian Institute. The most important things he did as Canada’s first postmaster were to set up Universal Standard Time and make the Three Penny Beaver stamp. There are often award ceremonies at the school to show appreciation for the work of its students, teachers, and staff. Students who want to get the most out of their time at Fleming can choose from a wide range of options through the Education Pathways program. Students who want to go to college can use the college’s links to other schools in Canada and around the world. Its goal is to help people learn new things and come up with new ideas that will make their lives and communities better. This goal is met by giving all students the chance to take part in internships, volunteer programs, and hands-on projects. Fleming University has four campuses in Ontario. All of them have a lot of green space, paths, and high-quality sports facilities. As a result, students have a lot of options for sports and other activities on campus. The average class size is 15, and there are 12 students for every one teacher.
