Fanshawe College

Ontario Vocational College was the name of Fanshawe College before it opened in 1962 in London, Ontario (OVC). On September 28, 1964, the first day of school began. In 1967, the name “Fanshawe” was made from the words “fane,” which means “building” or “temple,” and “shaw” or “shawe,” which means “woods.” Fanshawe also means “temple in the woods” in English. James A. Colvin became the first president of Fanshawe College when it was first started. Peter Devlin, who used to be a Lieutenant General in the Canadian Army and is now retired, is the new president of Fanshawe College. On September 3, he began. “Unlocking Potential” is the college’s motto, and that idea can be found everywhere on campus. It is one of the biggest universities in Canada.
Fanshawe is a well-known school in the southwestern part of Ontario, Canada. There are four main campuses that make up Fanshawe College. The London campus is a sight to see. It has 23 buildings spread out over 100 acres. Here, you can find both the Norton Wolf School of Aviation Technology and the School of Transportation Technology and Apprenticeship. The campus was put together in 2018. The School of Digital and Performing Arts is at 137 Dundas Street, and Access Studies is at 431 Richmond Street. A new campus for Fanshawe College has just opened in South London.
