Bath Spa University

Bath Spa University began in 1852 as the Bath School of Art after the Great Exhibition of 1851. It is a public institution of higher education and research. The Bath College of Higher Education was made when the Bath Teacher Training College and the Bath College of Domestic Science merged in 1975. In 1983, Bath Academy of Art became part of the new organization. In 1992, the school was given the right to give degrees. In 1995, it changed its name to Bath Spa University College. In 2005, the building became a university, and in the same year, it got its current name, Bath Spa University (August 2005).
Newton Park is the largest and oldest part of the university, and it is also where the main campus of Bath Spa University is. The beautiful campus has academic buildings that are up-to-date and full of smart classrooms, labs, and workstations with modern technology and high-tech tools. The University Library is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and has a wide range of printed and digital resources that both faculty and students can use. There are a lot of places on campus where students can relax and do other things besides their schoolwork. About 2,264 students live in on-campus housing. There are eight schools at the university that offer a wide range of full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate programs. Students can get degrees in business, art, humanities, design, music, creative industries, performing arts, sciences, education, and other fields. Besides this, the institution offers a number of short courses and programs for learning at a distance. About 18,676 students from 130 countries around the world attend the university, which is a large community of people from many different countries and cultures. 53% of the student population are men, and 47% are women. International students make up 30% of the total number of students. Staff at the school are skilled, experienced, and responsible. This includes academic staff, administrative staff, and staff who help students.
